Fall Colors and Themes to Boost Your Branding

Fall Colors and Themes

Fall Colors and Themes for Your Biz

Fall is here and I couldn’t be more excited for chunky sweaters, knee high boots, and pumpkin flavored everything (except pumpkin spiced lattes- they taste like burnt sugar. Don’t @ me). While participating in fall festivities can help keep your content timely, your followers and target audience should always be able to recognize you and your brand. The below tips and freebies can help you incorporate fall colors and themes in your business while keeping your branding and unique value proposition front and center.

Fall Colors

Take a look at your current color palette. While you don’t want to completely rebrand every time the seasons change, consider one or two colors that you can rotate in for the fall. Keep in mind, fall does not have to mean orange and black. Consider what pairs well with your brand’s colors.

Coolors.com is a free and simple tool that can help you generate colors that work well with your brand. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to coolors.com

  2. Click the blue button that reads “Start the Generator, it’s free!”

  3. Edit the HEX codes of the first three colors, entering your brand’s colors

  4. Click the lock icon to lock those colors in place

  5. Hit your spacebar to generate new colors in the last two columns

  6. Continue tapping the spacebar until you’re given fall colors you’re happy with

Fall Icons

Utilizing fall symbols, such as leaves, pumpkins, and mugs of hot beverages, are another simple way to welcome fall as your brand.

Update your social media cover photos:

While keeping your industry top of mind, consider updating your cover photos to include fall themes. For example, if you’re a real estate agent, your cover images could feature a home surrounded by fall foliage. If you work online, consider an image featuring your laptop and a steamy cup of coffee. At a loss? You could simply place stickers or icons in the corners of your image, giving it some fall flair.

Instagram Highlight Covers

Fall Holidays

Consider featuring fall holidays across your social media channels. Share how you and your business will be celebrating, alert your followers of local celebrations, or simply remind your customers that these dates are fast approaching.

  • October 14th- Indigenous Peoples Day

  • October 31st- Halloween

  • October 31st through November 2nd- Day of the Dead

  • November 11th- Veterans’ Day

  • November 28th- Thanksgiving

The site, checkiday.com can help you find other holidays that may be relevant to your specific industry.

There is plenty to love about fall and plenty of ways to incorporate fall colors and themes into your online presence. What is your favorite thing about fall?  I would love for you to comment below or let me know via Facebook or Instagram
